VYROS GORGE WEDNESDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER 2015
Dave's latest walk saw 11of us leave Kardamilli for the long climb upto Aghios Sophia. At least the temperature was cooler but the sun was still shinning. It was still hard work. At the top we started the descent into the Vyros gorge, where we took a well earned rest. We then walked the 3.2 kms out of the gorge back to Kardamilli and the sea. Stopping off at the ruins of Likaki monastery. Lunch was taken at Gialos Tavern on Kardamilli beach.
